The Watershed is An Open Book
New Family Program for 3-8 Year Olds and Their Parent/Caregivers
If you live in the Strawberry Mansion neighborhood of Philadelphia, this program is for you!
- Weekly workshops with a seasonal theme to help build reading readiness using “teachable” moments in your own neighborhood.
- Great incentives for frequent attendance, such as backpacks loaded with things to help your child read, explore, and play in the outdoors!
- Partners: Mander Recreation Center, Fairmount Water Works Interpretive Center, and Let’s Go Outdoors
- Supported by the William Penn Foundation
- There is no fee, but pre-registration is required. Space is limited so sign up below today!
This program is held:
- every Saturday (from April 7 – June 9) at Mander Recreation Center (11am – 1pm); and
- April 28, May 19, and June 9 at the Fairmount Water Works (from 2pm – 4pm).
JUST ADDED:
- Gideon Elementary School (2817 W. Glenwood Ave., Philadelphia, PA – Room 104) – Every Wednesday from 5:30pm-7pm (April 25 – May 30)
