DESCRIPTION:Still searching for an interesting\, unique camp for your adventurous kids to attend this August? You’re in luck! \nLandHealth Institute and Fairmount Water Works introduce the pilot offering of City Wild day camp! This summer camp for kids ages 10-13 offers off-the-beaten-path adventures through Philly’s neighborhoods to explore nature in the urban environment. SUMMARY:River Reimagined: A Land & Water Tour
DESCRIPTION:Learn about Philadelphia’s first tourist attraction\, and cruise the Schuylkill for a new perspective on sites along this historic river. After passing through FWW’s beautifully landscaped South Garden\, stroll along the ‘Schuylkill Banks’ for a 1.5 mile walk to the Walnut Street dock to board a boat for a one-hour narrated cruise. PLEASE NOTE: in the event of inclement weather\, we may have to cancel the tour. You will be notified by email if the tour must be cancelled. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
