The curated selection of vintage and contemporary drawings\, paintings and photography by Philadelphia artists captures our rivers\, streams\, wildlife\, and tidal wetlands. The purpose of WANDERING: Observations of Our Watershed\, is to encourage exploration of our watershed\, and discussion of the delicate and crucial balance of an ecosystem in an urban setting. \nCurator and Artist Led Tours\nTwo one-hour tours will be offered at 11am and 1pm on: \n\nApril 20th\nMay 4th and 18th\nJune 1st\, 15th and 29th\nJuly 13th and 27th\n\nRegister for a tour \nHours: 10 AM – 5 PM     Wednesday through Saturday

This community science program helps our freshwater mussel propagation program and brings us a step closer to cleaner water for birds and for ourselves. \nThis program is designed for adult volunteers. DESCRIPTION:Join us Saturday mornings for lively family expeditions at the Fairmount Water Works Interpretive Center and in the park along the Schuylkill River. \nEnjoy guided activities inside and out. Continue the fun at home with a take-home water-themed book and activity deck of cards. \nProgram is for families of children ages 3-8. Everyone (adults and kids!) is encouraged to participate. \nThere is no fee\, but pre-registration is suggested. Space is limited so sign up today!
