We use a system of combined sewers in half of our neighborhoods and a separate sewer system in the other half. \nThe Fairmount Water Works is coordinating three tours\, held the last Wednesday of the month\, from April through June. \nCome and enjoy a behind-the-scenes tour of the Southeast Wastewater Treatment plant. The tour is free\, but pre-registration is required. Due to security measures in place\, attendeees must meet at the Fairmount Water Works to complete the registration process. \nTour details\, logistics\, and dates are subject to change. In the event of inclement weather\, attendees will be notified via email.
