DESCRIPTION: Fishing Fest is set for Saturday\, September 7th!\nJoin us from 7 to 11 a.m. at the Schuylkill Banks between Locust and Chestnut Streets. Online pre-registration is open through September 5th.\nEnjoy a morning of free catch-and-release fishing and friendly competition at the Schuylkill Banks (on the Schuylkill River Trail between Locust and Chestnut Streets).  \nThe Fishing Fest is for anglers of all ages and levels of experience. No fishing license is required during the competition. Fishing gear will be available for loan on a first-come\, first-served basis. \nThere will be awards given in various categories. \nThe awards ceremony starts at 11:30 a.m.  \n\nFree to the public\nMeet on Schuylkill Banks (See map)\nEvent is ADA accessible\nBring your own snacks & refreshments\n\nRain Date: September 14\, 2024.  \nOnline pre-registration is open through September 5th.
