The Interpretive Center became PWD’s environmental education center in 2003, welcoming more than 575,000 visitors to date.

Promoting and caring for our water heritage
Youth Prize Contest – 6th Edition (2024-25)
The Youth Prize Contest The Water We Want (TWWW) aims at exploring our multifaceted water legacies – natural and cultural, tangible and intangible – from the perspective of young people.

Any school or teacher interested in participating must:

  • Contact us or another member of the Global Network. You can find a full list of WAMU-NET members here: watermuseums.net/network/.
  • Engage students in educational activities focusing on freshwater-related issues and produce original drawings, videos, and other media.
  • Submit the work to FWWIC or any institution affiliated with WAMU-NET by 26 April 2025.
