Science Saturday: “What’s Bugging You? Aquatic Insects – Good & Bad”

Many flying insects are actually born in water. Some are good and some not so good – like mosquitoes. Mozzies (as the English call them) are a big problem for humans and our battle against them has sometimes created its own problems. Learn some mosquito history and its connection to the drinking water supply in Philadelphia, and learn how to make your own mosquito trap at home. (Sessions run every 30 minutes.)
