“We Love Our Volunteers” Appreciation Event

On the evening of Saturday, February 13, more than 25 volunteers and guests visited the Fairmount Water Works for a special Valentine’s Day-themed appreciation event.

FWW staff thanked the volunteers, including tour guides, education assistants, and special event assistants of all ages, for their dedication. The event was spearheaded by Rene Johnson, FWW’s Community Initiatives Specialist. Guests enjoyed food, music, games, a raffle, and simply getting acquainted with one another.

Certificates of appreciation were given to Charles Williams, Ray Finkel, and Judi Campi, who have each contributed more than 100 hours of service to the Fairmount Water Works.
