Fall 2013 events at the FWWIC!

As the leaves start to change (and we, thankfully, approach the end of Hurricane season), our work at the Fairmount Water Works Interpretive Center continues at full STEAM ahead. STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Architecture, Mathematics: all part of our ever-increasing range of activities.

From our Pop-Up surprises to Science Saturday and Sunday Cinema, this season brings new vision to the IC as we celebrate our 10th Anniversary year! Please click on the link to download your copy of our latest calendar. FWWICeventsFall2013

We start with an event of both local and global interest: Dr. Peter Gleick, one of the world’s top experts on global water. He’ll be at the Van Pelt Auditorium on Friday, October 25, to present his views on global water challenges, issues, and solutions.

Following this will be a reception here at the IC. For more information, please see the first page of our calendar or visit http://globalwatergleick.eventbrite.com.

As always, thank you for your support of the IC, and we look forward to seeing you here soon.
