Rivers Month Photo Contest

Thanks for your submissions…winners will be announced soon!

June is National Rivers Month, and the Fairmount Water Works Interpretive Center is launching a photo contest to celebrate.

Send us your best images that capture the ebb and flow of water in our world – from Philadelphia’s wide, winding, and weathered rivers and creeks to the rain that replenishes them.

There are 4 categories for entry:

This is an amateur contest, and there’s no fee to enter. We encourage all photos to be taken with phone cameras only. Be sure to practice social distancing!

Judges include a professional photographer, select photo enthusiasts and representatives from the communication and media team of the Philadelphia Water Department.

The deadline has been extended to July 30! Winners will be announced shortly thereafter. The top 3 winning entries in each category will be posted on FWW social media platforms.

The grand prize winner in each category will receive a $100 gift card.
