Center City in Philadelphia is relatively flat.  Across the Schuylkill River in the western part of the city there are hills and rocky outcrops. Learn about the physiographic provinces that make up Philadelphia and how they are different. We will use topographic maps and an interactive sandbox to understand the landforms that make up our city and watershed. Come and get the lay of the land and build your own miniature landscape with its own topo map.
(Sessions run every 30 minutes.)
