Summer Field Trips

Bring your group for a summer program!

2026 summer programs will be offered from July 8th – August 21st, Wednesdays through Saturdays. Program times are 10am-12pm or 12:30pm-2:30pm.

Available Programs

Summer program: “Meet Us at the River”

Water, water everywhere! Through nature exploration, art activities, fun and games, campers will get to know wildlife in and around the river. Learn how we can all protect the Schuylkill River and become stewards in our local watersheds. Come meet us at the river!

Recommended ages: 5-12 years old

Programs offered 10am-12pm or 12:30-2:30pm

We Drink the River

WE DRINK THE RIVER engages older students in the analysis of water samples taken from the Schuylkill River. Students will assess important abiotic factors and view microscopic life from the river under microscopes. Recommended ages: 13-18
