Hands-On Science

Need something to do with the kids before summer camp starts? Celebrate the summer solstice at the Fairmount Water Works Interpretive Center! Join us for a morning of hands-on kid-friendly activities. Show off your architectural skills by creating replicas of our historic site with our staff, or bring water creatures to life through paper mache painting with Mural Arts Philadelphia. You can even enjoy a special summer treat – water ice – before you leave! This event is free and open to the public.
