Alison Stigora Selected Artist (Art on the Circuit Update)

Alison StigoraOn Saturday, November 8, the Art on the Circuit Committee and FWW staff joined project finalists on the Schuylkill River Trail to get public feedback on prototypes of artist installations. (Click here for a full recap.)

We are proud to announce that artist Alison Stigora has been chosen to participate in the next phase of the project, which includes further development of the prototype, and audience testing. The soft release of the final version of the prototype is scheduled for mid-March.

“Art on the Circuit” was made possible by a grant from the William Penn Foundation. Through this program, FWW will connect outdoor enthusiasts with information about urban watersheds. The installation will attract users of the Schuylkill River Trail to expand their awareness of the river, our watershed, water quality, and our organization.

The project truly integrates science and art.
