INFORMAL TOUR AND DISCUSSION WITH CURATOR AND ARTISTS We welcome visitors to register in advance for personal and engaging tours with Thom Duffy, Curator of "SUBMERGED: A Changing Global Climate", at the Fairmount Water Works Interpretive Center. Nature in the City

Explore the wildlife and plant life along the banks of the Schuylkill on the Fairmount Water Works Trail and Boardwalk. Join us for a short guided bird-watching walk and learn how to use binoculars! Get creative with fun tree-themed art and crafts to learn more about the trees along the river. All ages are welcome.

Join us for our monthly freshwater mussel measuring event at the Discovery Center on Saturday, August 26 from 10am - 12pm! This community science program helps our freshwater mussel propagation program and brings us a step closer to cleaner water for birds and for ourselves.
